About Us

My name is Megan McDowell and I am a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Before becoming an NP I worked as a registered nurse in the Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, and in pre/post orthopedic surgery. My background as a NP is in pain management, orthopedics, and occupational medicine before jumping head first into the aesthetic world. What actually sparked my interest was treating migraine patients with Botox and seeing how much quality of life they gained!

I have done most of my aesthetic training with the brilliant Kelly Hermans, CRNA at Beautiphi Academy. After my initial training in 2022, I knew I had found my passion and I didn't want to waste any more time to get started. Starting B'Well Medical Aesthetics has given me my life back after experiencing burn out and discontent from my previous job. I love what I do and I love making people feel good about themselves. Perks of the job is gaining all of the amazing friendships in patients, peers and mentors.

I am married and have one beautiful daughter and two awesome bonus sons. In my spare time I enjoy being with my husband and kids doing pretty much anything. I love all things outdoors, the St. Louis Cardinals, and traveling. Many times if I'm on vacation with my husband you can find us going on hiking adventures!

One thing people might not know about me is that I am addicted to education. I actually have two bachelors degrees, a masters degree, and too many certifications to count. I love learning and in the world of aesthetics, there is ALWAYS something new to learn! 

Whether you want just a natural regression of aging, correction of a problem area, or to prevent worsening signs of aging, I am here for it! I practice inside B'Still Day Spa but I am willing and able to bring the full operation to you at your home if desired. I am excited and grateful to have you all here!
